Rare and collectible. Dune Encyclopedia. 1984. Paperback. Book is in “ok” condition. Outside front cover shows significant shelf wear. Top right corner is creased. Large big tear/crease on the front cover lower left on spine. Aged pages that do not affect the text. Back cover bottom left is creased. There is staining along the edges of the back cover top and bottom. There are a few pages that have an unknown stain on the edge of the page. This does not affect the text. See photos for more detail. This item will be insured for $300 and shipped in a box, as well as wrapped, to protect it.
The outside cover of this book shows minor, mostly just cosmetic wear and scuffing. I made a small notation on the inside front cover in pen. Hindsight is 20/20. There is a small stained area on the spine on the front. There is a small stained area on the inside menu page. And there is a small stain on page 21. The back cover of the book has a tiny little tear on the bottom middle – but overall, everything is in good condition despite the minor scuffing and etc listed above. The binding of the book is tight and in like new condition. I haven’t actually opened this book in 20 years. I read through it once when I bought it, and then it has mostly just sat on my bookshelf ever since. Please see the pictures for details about the wear on the cover!
